DAYTON — Dayton Children’s Hospital has acquired two primary care practices in the Miami Valley.

Dayton Children’s acquired Cornerstone Pediatrics and Shelby Pediatrics, a spokesperson announced on Thursday.

Cornerstone Pediatrics is a primary care office located in Springboro at Dayton Children’s south campus. Shelby Pediatrics is a primary care office in Sidney.
The doctors, nurses, and staff at both practices will be Dayton Children’s employees but will still provide care under Cornerstone and Shelby Pediatric names.
The goal of the acquisition is to “provide a more seamless experience with elevated collaboration and better continuity of care for children.”
“We know we need to reinvent the path to children’s health for the best outcomes and this is yet another step along that path toward achieving the optimal health for every child within our reach,” Deborah Feldman, president and CEO for Dayton Children’s Hospital, said.
