Dayton Fire Department to promote seven officers in ceremony today

DAYTON — The Dayton Fire Department will promote seven officers in a ceremony that will be held at City Hall today, according to a media release.

The promotion ceremony will take place in the City Commission Chambers on the second floor at 10 a.m.

The following individuals will promoted:

  • Capt. Andrew Wiley will be promoted to the rank of District Chief
  • Lt. Aaron Chaney will be promoted to the rank of Captain
  • Lt. Jesse Landis will be promoted to the rank of Captain
  • Firefighter/Paramedic Jerod Cox will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant
  • Firefighter/Paramedic Brian Fleming will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant
  • EMT Amanda Henson will be promoted to the rank of Paramedic
  • EMT John Parry will be promoted to the rank of Paramedic

The community is welcome to attend the ceremony this morning, located at 101 West Third Street.
