Dayton homicide suspect now faces charges in separate shooting

DAYTON — A woman charged with killing another woman on Almond Avenue over the weekend is now facing charges in connection to another shooting last month that police said also stemmed from fight.

Tarmeisha Brown, 24, faces three counts of felonious assault after police said she fired multiple shots at a car that was leaving the park at 4400 West Second Street.

The shooting happened after police said there was a fight involving several women at the park. No one was hit by the bullets.

Brown was charged earlier this week with two counts of murder and four counts of felonious assault. She was accused of shooting and killing Destiny Bellfo on Almond Avenue. Brown also was accused of shooting Destiny Bellfo’s sister, Dominique. The sister survived her injuries.

The West Second shooting happened on May 13 around 5 p.m.
