Dayton man goes viral after posting makeover from daughters

DAYTON — A Dayton man’s Twitter post about his daughters doing his make up has inspired a new social media trend.

Brad Cubbie received a full makeover after his daughters, Khloe and Braileigh, received new make up for Christmas.

“They asked to make me up and I didn’t think it would be all this at all,” explained Cubbie.

Cubbie took a selfie of his new look and posted it to Twitter.

“When I posted the picture, I was expecting a few of my friend to make some jokes and we laugh at it and that would be it,” said Cubbie. “But it just went crazy viral,”

The original Tweet has almost 600 thousand likes and started a chain reaction of other men sharing photos of makeovers from their daughters.

“We made a fraternity now, it was cool seeing all those dads interact with their daughters,” explained Cubbie. “When you’re a “girl dad” your girls hold on to your heart a little different. You can’t tell them no, my girls got me wrapped around their finger and they know it.”

Cubbie says this whole experience has inspired his daughters. They hope to be make-up artists and own their own make-up stores.
