Dayton narcotics bureau undercover work leads to 8 felony indictments

DAYTON — Undercover work by the Dayton Police Department Narcotics buerau during a four month period last year has led to eight felony drug trafficking indictments, according to police.

The undercover operations were done between July and October last year and followed citizen or business owner complaints of drug activity, the city said.

According to police, detectives were able to make to make hand-to-hand purchases of illegal drugs.

The suspects indicted include:

  • Steven Arnold
  • Mayfield Evans
  • Deren Craft
  • Raymon Dixon
  • John Myrick
  • Christopher Ross
  • Deontay Williams
  • Nicholos Woodson

Police said Williams and Craft have active warrants for their arrest and anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 222-STOP.
