Dayton Police Department mourns loss of retired K9 Baron

DAYTON — The Dayton Police Department is mourning the loss of a retired K9.

“It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of retired K9 Baron,” the police department said in a social media post. “Baron will be greatly missed, not only by Sergeant Trupp but all of us here at the Dayton Police Department.”

K9 Baron served from October 22, 2012 to October 31, 2017.
