DAYTON — Two Dayton police officers came to the rescue and saved the lives of nine fuzzy ducklings Monday.
Officer Metzler and Officer Carroll helped pull the ducklings from a storm drain they had fallen into at West Third Street and Perry Street.
During the rescue, the worried mother of the ducklings could be seen watching the officers save her babies, according to the police department.
