This year, the theme is “Transit Loves Ohio.” The campaign will be celebrated virtually due to COVID-19.

The week-long celebration aims to highlight how Ohio’s public transportation systems continue to strive to meet the daily needs of their communities.

RTA provides more than 5 million trips a year, helping keep communities moving.

Robert Ruzinsky, RTA CEO, said he was proud of the way the Dayton RTA had continued to step up during the pandemic.

“Our community counts on those workers to be at our hospitals, our pharmacies, our grocery stores, our doctor’s offices, and other essential front line places, and most importantly, our community counts on RTA to be there to provide transportation to them. Our entire team is proud and committed to doing just that,” Ruzinsky said.
