1 dead after motorcycle accident on I-70 West ramp to I-75 South

VANDALIA — One person is dead after a motorcycle accident on the ramp from I-70 westbound to I-75 southbound.

The victim has been identified as Paul G. Bonham, 61, from Dayton, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Bonham was driving a 2016 Triumph Bonneville when he went off the road and struck a guard rail. He was wearing a helmet when was separated from the motorcycle.

The crash was reported at 5:16 p.m. in Vandalia.

The scene has been cleared, and the crash remains under investigation.
