Police: No foul play suspected after man found dead outside Brookville house

BROOKVILLE — UPDATE @ 11:50 a.m.: 

Foul play is not suspected after a man was found dead in the front yard of a Brookville house Thursday morning, according to police.

Officers were requested to the house in the 200 block of Arlington Road around 7:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a naked man lying in the front yard, investigators said.

The man, only identified as a 57-year-old from Brookville was pronounced dead and his body was removed from the scene by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

The man’s cause of death is unknown and under investigation, but police said they do not suspect foul play.

A search warrant was executed by police but nothing suspicious was found, officers said.

The identity of the man has not been released, pending notification of family.

We are working to learn more about a death investigation underway at a house on Arlington Road in Brookville Thursday morning.

Officers were requested to the 200 block of Arlington Road around 7:30 a.m. and found a deceased person in a front yard, according to dispatch records.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed an investigator has been requested to the scene.
