3 arrested after deputies search Springfield apartment complex

SPRINGFIELD — UPDATE @ 3:45 p.m.:

Three people were arrested in a Tuesday morning drug raid at an apartment in the 1900 block of East High Street in Springfield.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit seized more than 60 grams of suspected cocaine, four firearms, body armor and cash. Two of the guns were reported stolen from neighboring jurisdictions, and all four were loaded, according to a release.

A 2-year-old child also was in the residence. Clark County Children Services was called, and placed the child with a family member.

Two men, Isiaah Channels, 20, and Mahdi Channels, 22, were booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of trafficking in drugs, receiving stolen property and childen endangering, all felony charges. One woman, Citalli Rosales, 20, was booked on suspicion of felony child endangering and misdemeanor permitting drug abuse.

Three people are in custody after Clark County sheriff’s deputies found drugs while searching a Springfield apartment complex Tuesday morning.

Isiaah Channels, 24, Mahdi Channels, 22, and Citalli Rosales, 20, all were arrested during the search, according to investigators.

“We have located drugs — suspected cocaine — multiple weapons, body armor and cash,” said Chief Deputy Jeff Meyer.

Two guns recovered during the search were reported stolen, one from Dayton and another from Champaign County, investigators said.

The search was executed Tuesday morning at the Belmont Apartments on East High Street near South Belmont Avenue.

The three people arrested have been booked in the Clark County Jail however their mugshots were not available.
