Miami County deputies are working to find out who set papers on fire inside the Conover post office on North Alcony Conover Road Monday.
“Even if it's just kind of a prank of somebody messing around, the potential for catching a building on fire is pretty severe,” said Miami County Chief Deputy Steve Lord.

Deputies received a call from a worker at the post office Monday around 8:45 a.m. after she discovered the damage.
"I just don't want my post office catching fire,” the woman told emergency dispatchers.
The woman said the fire was just the latest damage inside the post office. She said for about a week they have been dealing with someone knocking over trash cans and pamphlet holders at the rural post office.
The caller also told deputies that someone had tried to pry open a cabinet at the post office.
