Suspect in Harrison Twp. shooting fled in silver SUV, witnesses tell deputies

The suspect in Monday afternoon’s shooting in Harrison Twp. left in a silver SUV, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Daryl Wilson said witnesses reported.

The victim, who deputies found walking on Yellowstone Avenue (the area where the shooting occurred), was shot in the shoulder and back, Wilson said.

Deputies and medics responded around 3 p.m. to reports of a person shot in the 3700 block of Yellowstone Avenue.

The 29-year-old man was taken to Grandview Medical Center. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, Wilson said.

Wilson said anyone who may have information about the vehicle or information about the incident is urged to call county regional dispatch at 937-225-4357.
