As reported on News Center 7 at 11:00, Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies and medics were called to the 200 block of E Nottingham Road around 5:15 p.m.
“They’re shooting at each other left and right, ones down,” one 911 caller said. “I don’t know whose shot I’m not going outside.”
A spokesperson from the sheriff’s office said the dispatch center received several calls about the incident. One caller said someone had been stabbed.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a stab wound and a 20-year-old man injured in an assault.
Both men were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
The spokesperson did not confirm if shots were fired during this incident.
“People get shot, stabbed, all day every day you know you run or get killed, you choose,” Harrison Township resident Morgan Tracey said.
Tracey has lived in this area for the past five years.
“That’s where all the drug addicts and everybody stay,” Tracey said. “Very bad neighborhood.”
Several people were detained for questioning, but no arrests have been made.
The Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit will continue to look into what happened here.
