BUTLER COUNTY — A stolen SUV was recovered from the Great Miami River Tuesday night.

Deputies responded at 6:23 p.m. to the 300 block of Oxford State Road in Lemon Township on reports that a vehicle partially submerged in the Great Miami River, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Services (ERS) Unit also went to the scene near the water treatment plant.
ERS used special equipment to safely reach and recover the vehicle, Sheriff Jones said.
They discovered the vehicle to be a stolen blue KIA SUV out of Middletown.
