DAYTON — Emergency crews responded to a well involved detached garage fire at the 4000 block of Diamond Mill Rd. in Dayton. around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
The fire was in close proximity to a home, but was under control before spreading and causing additional damages.
Montgomery County Dispatch confirmed with News Center 7 that crews were able to extinguish the fire out around 2:37 p.m.
The fire temporarily closed off parts of Providence Pike and Snake Rd.
