Stephen Reynolds Jr., 35, was arrested and charged with failure to comply, obstructing official business, fleeing, reckless operation and speed limits 30 and over, according to court records.

A Franklin police officer patrolling the Pilot Travel Center at 6830 Franklin Lebanon Road ran a fictitious registration tag on a car.

The officer followed Reynolds onto Interstate 75 North after he left the lot. Pacifico said the officer re-ran the tag before trying to pull the car over.

Reynolds reportedly took off at a high rate of speed soon after, nearing 110-120 miles per hour. Reynolds was allegedly weaving through traffic by changing lanes at this speed, according to police records.

Reynolds got off the interstate at Austin Boulevard but crashed into a pole at the SR-741 intersection, Pacifico said.

He allegedly got out of the car and ran away on foot.

Pacifico said Springboro police officers caught up to Reynolds behind the Connor Group building, at 10510 N Springboro Pike, and arrested him.

He was transported to a local hospital as a precaution after complaining of knee pain.

Reynolds is on parole for running from authorities in Harrison Township, Pacifico said.

Franklin police, Springboro police, and Miami Township police were all spotted on scene of the crash.

No one was injured in this chase.

Reynolds is booked in the Warren County Jail and his bond has been set at $50,000. His preliminary trial date is set for Jan. 1.
