Crews arrived on scene to “heavy flames at the front of the structure” in the 300 block of Lake Street around 2:30 a.m., said Troy Fire Department Assistant Chief Eric Krites.

The dog was found in the basement and was revived.

Four adults safely evacuated and will be assisted by the Northern Chapter of the American Red Cross, according to officials.

Damages were estimated between $25,000 and $30,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
