CINCINNATI — A dog has been reunited with her owner after a journey across the country.
Earlier this month, the Hamilton County Dog Warden picked up Sophie in a Cincinnati neighborhood.
After they scanned her for a microchip, officials were pointed toward Jordan, a trucker based in California.

Jordan had to re-home Sophie when his company stopped letting her travel with him. Sophie was then re-homed several times, taking her thousands of miles away to Ohio.
Now, Jordan found a company that allows Sophie to travel with him. And when Jordan received the call from Cincinnati Animal Care, he scheduled a haul to Cincinnati to reunite with his best friend.
