SPRINGFIELD — Last Friday Dole Fresh Vegetables has announced a voluntary recall for all Dole brand packaged salads due to a possible risk of listeria.
The salads were processed at the production facilities in Springfield as well as a facility in Soledad, California.
The company stated there have been no illnesses linked to the recalled products at this date.

According to the Food and Drug Administration’s website, the salads have been identified by the product lot code beginning with the letter “W” and a “Best if Used By” date between December 22, 2021, and January 9, 2022.
Consumers who still have any of these products in their refrigerators are advised not to consume them and to discard them immediately.
