EATON — Police have issued a scam warning involving Apple Pay over the Christmas holidays.

The Eaton Police Division issued a warning on social media reminding people to be cautious.

They said legitimate businesses will never ask anyone to pay them with Apple Pay cards or other types of pay cards.
“Scammers are getting more inventive, and they are trying new things everyday to take your money. Don’t make it easy for them!” the department said.
They said if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
