Several bricks have fallen off an apartment building in the 1100 block of Salem Avenue at Princeton Drive in Dayton prompting fire crews to ask for a housing inspector.

The initial report to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, in a call made about 5:30 p.m. Monday, was for a possible building collapse.
“You have a building that collapsed, an apartment building,” a male caller to 9-1-1 told an emergency operator.
He said he was not sure the building was occupied.

“There are bricks all out on the road and it looks like it might collapse again,” the man told the operator.
According to Internet research, the Salem Avenue Apartments building was built in 1927.
No injuries have been reported.
