The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Springfield post of Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to multiple reports of a driver hitting other vehicles, crashing their car into a house, and then fleeing the scene, according to information News Center 7 accumulated between the two departments and emergency scanners.

State troopers were first made aware of the driver at around 1:10 a.m. after receiving reports of crashes into other vehicles and later a house, dispatchers for the department informed. Law enforcement agents first cited the driver in the Northridge area in Clark County.

The car reportedly crashed into a house between Montego Drive and state Route 334, according to initial traffic on emergency scanners.

The driver then fled the scene, prompting the Clark County Sheriff’s Office to create a “be on the lookout” (otherwise known as a “BOLO”) for a silver or gray Honda Civic with heavy front-end damage, dispatch for state patrol stated.

The suspect was still at large at the time of questioning.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation into the incidents. They are expected to release more information soon.
