MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — Miami Twp. police are interviewing two people of interest in connection to the deadly shooting on Kajean Avenue last week.
Seth Beatty, 16, of Moraine, was identified as the victim in the shooting that was reported around 8:50 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators said Beatty was shot during a drug deal gone bad.
Beatty died at Kettering Medical Center from his injuries, the Montgomery Coroner’s Office said.
Several markers of what appear to be evidence markers were placed on the sidewalk of the scene in the 2000 block and several of what appear to be small plastic bags.
No charges have been approved in the case.
