GERMAN TOWNSHIP — UPDATE @ 6:53 a.m.

The owner of the trucks said there were electrical issues with one of the trucks, “which certainly coincides with the damage that we found,” said Dan Alldred, German Twp. Fire Chief.

Mutual aid from Madison Twp. was requested, Alldred said.

“We had some trouble with the fuel load in the diesel tanks,” he said. “We ended up using foam to fully extinguish them and prevent rekindle.”
