The General Election is now less than a month away, but Wednesday morning early voting will begin across the area.
Early voting will run from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and continue every week, as well as some weekends until the Nov. 8 election.
During the election, voters will decide who the next governor will be, as well as secretary of state, auditor and treasurer.
Voters will also get to decide who will represent Ohio in the U.S. Senate, state senators and representatives — as well as about 30 other issues, such as school levies, for some.

“We’re thinking anywhere mid-50s to 60 percent turnout. There’s just a lot of things that will affect not only you individually, but your pocketbook,” Jeff Rezabek, director of Montgomery County Board of Elections said.
People can also vote early through absentee ballots, which will be shipped out starting Wednesday.
At the Montgomery County Board of Elections, voters have already submitted 34,000 ballot requests.
People can request a ballot all the way up until the Saturday before the election, Nov. 5.

But Rezabek suggests you don’t wait that long.
“I implore the public, please do it much earlier. Because in the mail system, if you ask us by noon on that last Saturday, I can’t guarantee that you’ll we’ll get it be able to return the ballot to you,” he said.
It’s also important that absentee ballots are post marked the day before the election, Nov. 7.
If they aren’t in the mail by election day, you will have to bring them to your local board of elections to count.
