Edison State celebrates new Troy campus with ribbon-cutting ceremony

Edison State Community College celebrated the opening of their new Troy campus this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The campus, 859 W. Market St., will be the center of healthcare education and training for the Upper Miami Valley.

“Expanding the pipeline of highly skilled healthcare workers is critical to the success of the regional economy and essential to the quality of life for families in the Upper Valley and the greater Dayton area,” President Dr. Doreen Larson said.

Options at the Troy campus include short-term technical certificate in Phlebotomy, one-year certificate in Medical Assisting, associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting, bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration (through a partnership with Franklin University), and EMT/Paramedic course programming to Troy firefighters.
