LANCASTER — An elderly man died Friday evening after being hit by a vehicle, according to Lancaster police.

Police have confirmed the victim is 74-year-old Charles Robert Casey.

Officers responded to an injury accident with a pedestrian in the 1600 block of East Main Street around 8 p.m., where officers found Casey unresponsive in the road.
The Lancaster Fire Department transported Casey to the Fairfield Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
