DAYTON — Ohio’s importance in election years is often noted, and the state will again play a significant role in determining who will win the presidency.
In fact, the candidate who won Ohio has gone on to win the presidency in the last 14 elections.
It’s nothing new that Ohio is considered a battleground state, and that unique status was highlighted by “CBS This Morning” Tuesday.
Anchor Tony Dokoupil is on a tour across the county focusing on battleground states and made a stop in Dayton Tuesday to highlight the region and state’s important role in determining who will become president.
