HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Crews responded to a crash with “serious” injuries in Harrison Township Thursday afternoon.
Crews responded to the intersection of Madrid Avenue and North Dixie Drive shortly after 12:45 p.m., according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a blue sedan entered N. Dixie Drive from a private drive, failing to yield to a tan GMC truck, the sheriff’s office said.
The Mazda was traveling from east to west and the GMC truck was traveling northbound on N. Dixie Drive in the left through lane.
Occupants from the Mazda were removed to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, the sheriff’s office said. It was unclear how many people were injured.
The occupants from the GMC truck were treated at the scene and released.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
