Details about two new Fairborn elementary school buildings are emerging.
Fairborn Intermediate School, also known as Palmer South Elementary School, is one of the two buildings to be replaced.
The $50-million project stems from the passage of a bond levy last year that will raise funds for the project.

Planning is to continue through fall 2019. Classes are scheduled to begin in fall 2022. The 100,000-square-foot building to replace Palmer will house grades three through five.
The projected cost is more than $21 million, according to school district officials.
The second building to be replaced, the primary school off Dayton Yellow Springs Road, will house pre-K through grade two. That 130,000-square-foot facility is to be two stories and include new technology, larger gym and playground equipment.
Construction is to begin in December 2018, with a projected completion date of fall 2020.
The cost for that part of the project has been estimated at $27 million, according to school district officials.
