Fairborn Kroger, police donate items to families in need

FAIRBORN — Employees at a Fairborn Kroger and local police came together to donate items to area food pantry’s Wednesday.

The Fairborn Kroger’s “Promise Team” along with Fairborn Police Department donated bottled water, canned goods and other items to the Fairborn FISH Pantry and the “Hawk Pantry” with the Fairborn City Schools.

Police said Officer Sam Fullen started teaming up with Kroger last year after talking with someone who desperately needed help.

Fullen reached out to Kroger who stepped in to help.

Since then Fullen continues to partner with Kroger to identify families in need.
