FAIRBORN — The Fairborn School District has placed a high school teacher, who is also assistant football coach, on administrative leave after receiving complaints about ‘personal comments’ made on social media.

“This staff member has been placed on administrative leave from all teaching and coaching duties while an independent investigation is conducted to determine whether any Board of Education policies have been violated,” the school said in a release.
Fairborn Schools say they will not be publicly discussing specific facts about the circumstances that led to the teacher being placed on administrative leave since it is a ‘pending personal matter.’

“Once the investigation is completed, we will review the facts and take appropriate action,” they said.
