False stabbing report leads man to Miami County Jail

MIAMI COUNTY — A Miami County man is booked into jail on suspicion of making false alarms after reporting a stabbing at the Royal Inn on Brukner Drive this morning.

Officers responded to the hotel around 6:15 a.m. on a reported stabbing, but never found a stabbing.

Jamison Germano, 38, of Troy, was arrested following the incident, police said.

Germano was first transported to Upper Valley Medical Center to be treated for reported chest pain and has since been taken to jail.
