Fatal crashes down in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY — Fatal crashes in Greene County are down this year compared to the same period in 2017, according to the Greene County Safe Communities Coalition.

One fatal crash has been reported this year, which happened in the first quarter, according to the release. There were 10 fatalities from January through June of 2017.

The four leading causes of crashes are following too closely, failure to control, failure to yield and improper lane change.
