The father of Andrea Heiser fought back tears as he reflected on the life of his daughter, who was shot and killed in a murder-suicide in Springfield earlier this week.
“It’s all gone in a day,” Randy Heiser told News Center 7’s Sean Cudahy on Thursday. “She had everything going for her.”

Andrea Heiser was killed by her stepfather Eric Sirons, who also shot and killed Andrea’s mother, Jennifer Sirons.
Randy was married to Jennifer Sirons for approximately 10 years.
“Her mom was her rock. And now they’re gone,” Randy said.
He said he hopes this incident will remind others to watch for signs of danger in domestic relationships.
“This didn’t have to happen, but it can,” Andrea’s father said. “In domestic relationships, if you see any signs don’t sweep it under the rug.”
