Slick roads cause FedEx truck to crash on westbound I-70

The ramp from westbound I-70 to Hoke Road has reopened.

The ramp from westbound I-70 to Hoke Road remains closed. All lanes of westbound I-70 are open.

FIRST REPORT

A FedEx truck crashed off westbound Interstate 70 during snowy conditions early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on westbound I-70 near the Hoke Road exit in Englewood.

The semi appears to have been hauling two trailers. The semi is in the ditch, and the exit ramp onto Hoke Road is blocked.

Several crashes and slide-offs have been reported across the area. A Winter Storm Advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. tonight.
