CINCINNATI — Fiona is officially a handful! The energetic hippo, known across the country, is turning five today, Jan. 24 but she isn’t the only one who could receive some gifts.
Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden are holding an invitation-only virtual birthday party. To join you can buy a $5 “gift” for Fiona on Cincinnati Zoo’s website.

The gift comes with a link to attend the virtual birthday event, a digital thank you card from Fiona, and a chance to win a prize package.
A $20 “gift” will give you an invitation along with five entries to win.
The prize package contains a one-of-a-kind hippo table by Mark Stoddart, an original kiss painting by Fiona, and a copy of “Happy Birthday, Fiona” by Richard Cowdrey.
Cincinnati Zoo is also teaming up with Graeter’s Ice Cream to celebrate.
Graeter’s will be selling $5 chocolate bars, five of which contain a golden ticket inside the wrapper.

Get a golden ticket and you win a kiss painting created by Fiona.
The birthday bash will take place on Jan. 24 at noon. Those who have purchased a birthday gift for Fiona should have received the link on Jan. 23.
The grand prize winner will be announced during Fiona’s virtual birthday party.
