Fire causes ‘heavy damage’ to house in Fairborn

FAIRBORN — A house was heavily damaged by a fire in Fairborn Friday afternoon.

Crews were called to heavy smoke showing from a house in the 300 block of Florence Avenue around 6 p.m.

Once on scene, crews found no one inside of the house and worked to put out the fire.

The house was occupied by one person who was not home at the time of the fire, according to crews on the scene.

No one was injured crews said.
