At the fire in December, District Chief Mike Fasnacht of the Dayton Fire Department described the area as “an active area for fires over the last several years,” and we have reported on several.

Just down the block from tonight’s fire is another home that we have reported on catching fire more than once, including once in December 2018 and once in February 2019.
