DAYTON — Smoke filled a Dayton neighborhood after a fire Wednesday night.
Around 6:30 p.m., Dayton firefighters were called to flames seen from a building in the area of Hamilton Ave and Yates street, according to Montgomery County regional dispatch.
When crews arrived on the scene they found a large garage fire, according to District Chief Matt McClain.

The garage fire spread to two neighboring houses.
Pictures from the scene show multiple homes with boarded windows.
McClain said the houses appear to have been vacant for some time.
No injuries have been reported.
It is not known what caused the fire at this time, McClain said.
