UPDATE: At least 1 transported to Miami Valley Hospital after Montgomery Co. house fire

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Update at 7:05 a.m. ET, Dec. 24:

Harrison Township Fire responded to a house fire Saturday overnight.

News Center 7 previously reported that firefighters were called to the 3500 block of West Hillcrest Avenue at around 2:45 a.m. after reports of a structure fire in a single-story home, Montgomery County Regional Dispatch stated.

Crews at the scene reported visible flames showing from the left side of the house, dispatch told News Center 7.

There was a confirmed injury from the fire with at least one person being transported to Miami Valley Hospital, dispatch confirmed.

The condition of the injury is currently unknown.

Firefighters were called to the 3500 block of West Hillcrest Avenue at around 2:45 a.m. after reports of a structure fire in a single-story home, Montgomery County Regional Dispatch stated.

Crews at the scene reported visible flames showing from the left side of the house, dispatch told News Center 7.

Firefighters did conduct a search of the house; however, it was unknown whether anyone was inside the house during the time of the fire, dispatch said.

There were no reported injuries and medics were not called to the scene, dispatch informed.

The cause of the fire was unknown at the time News Center 7 questioned dispatch.
