MIAMISBURG — UPDATE @ 9:20 a.m.:
Firefighters battled a fire in Miamisburg early Saturday morning.
Around 1:37 a.m. Miami Valley Fire District crews were dispatched to the 1500 block of Commons Drive on reports of a house fire.

The fire was contained to a garage attached to a home on Commons Drive, according to Miami Valley Fire District Battalion Chief Nick Sanders.
There was one person in the home at the time of the fire and they were able to get out of the home without being injured.
The fire caused an estimated $20,000 worth of damages, Sanders confirmed. He noted there was minimal smoke damage to the interior of the home itself.
While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, it is believed to be accidental.
