CHAMPAIGN COUNTY — Firefighters from both Clark and Champaign counties are battling a house fire on Storms Creek Road in southern Champaign County Friday morning, according to initial reports.

The fire was reported in the 5000 block of Storms Creek Road, south of state Route 55, around 7:35 a.m.
Reports from the scene indicate heavy smoke is still coming from the structure as crews work to contain the fire.
There have been no initial reports of injuries.
