Firefighters called to battle house fire in Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Firefighters were called to battle a fire that broke out in a Harrison Township home Friday morning.

Multiple fire departments responded to the fire in the 4000 block of Mapleleaf Drive. According to Harrison Township Fire Battalion Chief Seth Dodds, firefighters arrived on scene to found heavy smoke and fire in a single family home.

Red Cross has been contacted to assist the family, Dodds said.
