TIPP CITY — Firefighters have responded to a garage fire in Miami County Friday night.

Tipp City firefighters and Miami County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched around 9:08 p.m. to the 7600 block of Peters Road on initial reports of a garage fire, dispatchers told News Center 7.
A vehicle was also reported to be involved as well, dispatchers said.
Vandalia firefighters are reportedly providing mutual aid, according to initial scanner traffic.
Smoke could be seen from as far as Vandalia, according to calls into News Center 7′s newsroom.
AES Ohio has also been requested to the scene.
Images from an iWitness 7 viewer show a house on fire as well as a pole on fire near the area.
Initial scanner traffic reported there was a crash in the 7600 block of Peters Road.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office says it is investigating the incident.
