DAYTON — Firefighters responded to an abandoned house fire in Dayton early Tuesday morning.

Around 6:17 a.m. crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Kastner Ave on reports of a structure fire.

The house is believed to be abandoned, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Sergeant.
According to fire crews on scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.
At this time, fire crews have not been able to enter the home to determine if anyone was squatting inside.
The fire did not spread to any other buildings, according to crews on scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
