Firefighters respond to fire at Bob Evans in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS — Firefighters responded to a fire at Bob Evans in Huber Heights early Tuesday morning.

Around 6:40 a.m. crews were dispatched to the Bob Evans at 7670 Brandt Pike on reports of a fire.

The fire started in a fryer when employees were preparing to open the restaurant for the day, Huber Heights Fire Division Battalion Chief Jason Culham told News Center 7 crews on scene.

The fire spread to the roof but crews were able to put it out from both inside and on top of the roof.

No injuries were reported according to Culham.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
