KETTERING — Several firefighters responded to a kitchen fire in Kettering Friday morning.

Kettering firefighters were dispatched at 6:40 a.m. to the 4300 block of Irelan Street on initial reports of a house fire, according to dispatchers.

Initial scanner traffic indicated that smoke came from a one-story home. Firefighters found a fire in the kitchen.
Dispatchers told News Center 7 firefighters were at the scene. No other information was available.
