DAYTON — UPDATE @ 4:30 a.m.:
Two people were hospitalized after a fire at an apartment building in Dayton.
A Dayton Fire chief told News Center 7 Crews on the scene that two people were taken to an area hospital with injuries.
Details on the condition of the two people were not immediately available.

Firefighters responded to a fire at an apartment building in Dayton.

Just before 2:00 a.m., crews were dispatched to the 2900 block of Prescott Ave on reports of a structure fire.

It is unclear if the building was fully evacuated, a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Sergeant told News Center 7.
It is unclear if any injuries have been reported at this time.
Footage from an iWitness7 viewer shows several firefighters on the scene and several tenants who were forced to evacuate the building.
